CLLG08/CLLG12 tube silencer is developed on the basis of CLET patent product (Patent No. ZL 2001 2 0554664.4) and made of plastic punching plate arranged in array. Acoustic foam is filled in the space amid silencer pipes of which the head is covered by ABS panel and being held on tightly by Aluminum alloy strip. Internal steel framework is used as weight sustaining structure. Steel casing is used as protection and sound proofing. The silencer is free from corrosion when stainless steel is used as the material of tube silencer casing and structure. All parts except for steel framework and casing are installed through assembly. In the working condition away from direct sunlight and rainfall, the shelf life can be extended up to 30 years. The tube silencer is quite suitable for applications at offshore or onshore regions or those areas with salt/acid/damp corrosion.
CLLG08/CLLG12 tube silencer is designed into two models in order to deal with specific components within the frequency spectrum: CLLG08 with the silencing length of 800mm could achieve an insertion loss of 30-40 dB (A) in the middle and high components of noise frequency spectrum. Alternatively, CLL12 with the silencing length of 1200mm is able to achieve a noise reduction of 40-50 dB (A) within the same frequency spectrum interval. The exact noise reduction shall be calculated specifically in certain case. We are inspired by twisted pair curves to devote our effort in optimizing air dynamic design. As a result, the lower pressure drop is achieved with the flow ratio of 42%.
As compared to other silencers with the approximately identical noise reduction, CLLG tube silencer has the advantages of light weight, short effective silencer length, smaller in volume, less space occupation, low cost, good appearance, module manufacturing and anti-corrosion, therefore, the silencer is considered as a suitable and qualified silencer in achieving acoustic silencing on the facility package. For comparison, we will give you a simple example that in specific requirement of noise reduction, the necessary effective baffle silencer length would be 4m or 8m and hence more room(sometimes even larger than the facility being silenced) must be made for silencer arrangement. As for folded plate silencer, the ultra-high pressure drop has hampered its applications in practice. Besides, to the best knowledge of the acoustic field, the inner punching plate could in no way be stainless because it is directly welded to framework during the assembly process. However, the tube silencer has successfully settled this problem. The tube silencer, which could save more space in arrangement and construction, is thus suitable for acoustic engineering as well.
