Founded in 1997, Xi'an Suny New Materials Co., Ltd. is specialized in the developing & manufacturing of defoamers, bactericide. Its full name was Xi'an Suny Fine Chemicals Co., Ltd, when it was founded. SUNY CHEMICALS is its registered trademark (The certificate No.: 4239007) in the domestic market. SUNY's product is extensively used in the process of paper making, pulping, wastewater treatment, drilling of oil & gas. Its head office is located in the CBD heart of High Technology Industries Development Zone of Xi'an. There are 15 employee in its Xi'an office, including the members of R&D team. Its factory, well-equipped, covers 2, 000 square meters, and 50km far from the downtown of Xi'an city. The annual production capacity is up to 6, 000 tons.
As early as in 2008, working with Shaanxi University of Science & Technology, SUNY built a jointly R&D centre in Xi'an. The most team members are of sophisticated in the industry. They not only have profound academic background, but also rich experience in the developing of relative product. The laboratory is equipped with cutting-edge analysis devices, such as glass bioreactor, particle size analyzer, colloid mill, surface tensiometer, rotary evaporator and so on, that helps conducting researches on relative projects. Since its establishments, the centre has received many prizes and honors including national patents from the authorities, industrial associations. Among them is the Second Prize for Science & Technologies of Shaanxi Province with the Research on Co-modification and its Application of Polyether/Monostearate. Furthermore, the Processing Method for Terpolymer Defoamer was certificated with national patent.
