General Description
The eBERT is a stand-alone test solution that enables system analysis by producing data at rates ranging from 1Gb/s to 15Gb/s and 25.6Gb/s to 28.1Gb/s, and measuring the results, including eye diagrams and bit error rates. The eBERT offers similar functionality as high-end BERTs at a fraction of the cost. The eBERT-25G is designed to have two differential transmitters and two differential receivers. And the eBERT-25G also has the four differential transmitters and four differential receivers. The eBERT-25G also has a differential clock input and a differential trigger output. The eBERT-25G can generate PRBS7, PRBS15 and PRBS31.The output swing of each transmitter can be programmed from 200mVpp to 1000mVpp, allowing a very wide dynamic range for cross-talk testing. The eBERT-25G is remotely controlled via USB using the provided eBERT-25G GUI.
