Product Description
607 resin is a solid epoxy resin produced from bisphenol A and epichlorohydrin.
The principal use for607 is the manufacture of epoxy-phenolic and epoxy-amino stoving paint systems. These are employed mainly as can coatings, but also as linings for tubes and drums and as high-performance primers and chemically resistant finishes. 607 resin is used in the production of epoxy esters which form binders for industrial primers, metal finishes, maintenance paints, etc. The high hydroxyl content of EPIKOTE 1007 enables this resin to be used for the preparation of 2-component paints, using polyisocyanate as curing agent at room temperature
