It boasts smaller occupation compared with active sludge tank, strong acclimatization of water, good impact resistance load capacity, stable water quality and non-expansion of sludge. New vertical pack with big surface area tends to biofilm formation and detachment of microorganism, thus under same organic load, it enjoys greater removal of organics and water solubility of oxygen.
