CE &CCC&ISO certificate building grade tempered flat glass1.Brief Introduction
Tempered glass is float glass which is subjected to high temperatures then "snap cooled". Snap cooling results in the glass retaining high compressive stresses while the centre of the glass retains tension.Cooled rapidly to increase its force or pressure on its surface, its physically strength is times of normal float glass.
Tempered glass is 4-5 times stronger than annealed glass of the same thickness. And it also has stronger resistance to thermal breakage than annealed glass. If breakage occurs, the glass breaks up into small, cubical fragments, which are not threatening to humans.

4. Advantages of CE &CCC&ISO certificate building grade tempered flat glass 1) Safety
Tempered glass is safety and don't easy to be broken. Broken tempered glass particle is of honeycomb shape with obtuse angles which won't cause severe hurt to human body.
2) High Intensity
Compared with float glass of the same thickness, impact strength of tempered glass is higher by 3-5 times. And bending resistance is also 3 ~ 5 times of common glass.
3) Thermal Stability
Thermal stability of tempered glass is 3 times higher than float glass of the same thickness. Tempered glass can withstand sudden temperature shift from 220°C to 250°C, while float glass can only bear from 70°C-100°C.
