Yangzhou Metalforming Machine Company Limited, its predecessor, started research and development in CNC punching machine as early as 1980s. Two national projects, Industrial Reliability Study on CNC Punching machine and Technical Rehabilitation & Re-investment in CNC Punching machine, were implemented in Yangzhou in 1994, which laid a solid foundation for the development of a high-tech enterprise and LED us into the era that Chinese manufacturer could produce CNC punching machines on the basis of economy of scale. In 1996, the Company started cooperation with the world famous sheet metal equipment manufacturer RASKIN by bringing the most advanced hydraulic CNC punching machine manufacturing technology into China. In 1997, the Company set up a joint venture with German BEYELER to produce the advanced electric and hydraulic servo CNC pressbrake and whole set of CNC hydraulic shear. JFY is the first in China that can produce CNC punching machine, pressbrake and shear on the basis of economy of scale.

By introducing the state of arts manufacturing technology, the Company is not only able to supply a full range of CNC products, but also foster a strong skilled and talented team. The Company boasts to have its own R&D facilities, the strongest R&D capabilities in China: The first one to have launched hydraulic main drive CNC punching machine, the first one to have used Japan FANUC 18iPB and 0iPB control system, German Siemens 840D control system and remote diagnostic technology, the first one to have produced plate CNC punching machine used for automobile lorry carling production, the first one to have developed CNC busbar machine in China, filling the gap between China and other advanced countries.

In 2003, JFY launched APSS CNC punching-shearing FMS, featuring the most advanced technology in the world. The products were put into use at the same year in Qinhuangdao-Jilin Longding Electric Company Limited and Jiangsu Dongyuan Electric Company Limited, which put an end to the history that China had to rely on imports for CNC sheet metal FMS, and indicated that JFY has joined into the most advanced enterprise bunch in the world. The Company boasts to have the most capable machining equipment in the field of forging in China, British 20m stroke pentahedron machining center, Czechic SKOD floor type boring &miling machine, Italian super stroke ROSE CNC grinding center, and so on, thus ensuring the manufacturing quality. The turnover in 2008 reached 500, 000, 000RMB. It is predicted that in 2009 will be 550, 000, 000 RMB.
