Product Description
Flexible Polymer Waterproofing Glue
Use
K01 is mainly made of excellent polymer waterproofing latex. It should be used with cement. After application they will react chemically to form a hard and elastic film, which bonds tenaciously to most concrete or masonry substrate to protect against possible ingress of water. It applies on interior and exterior surface of wall, concrete and slab, swimming pools, kitchen, toilets, balcony, water tanks, ect.

Surface preparation
The solid substrate should be clean, dry and free of oils, grease, wax, latex compounds, curing compounds, dust and all foreign matter.
Application
1. Mix 25kg K01 FLEX polymer glue into 20kg of cement without any water. It is recommended to use low cycled(350r/min)electrical mixer in order to make the mortar homogeneous.
2. This slurry is applied using a brush, broom or spray machine. Ensure the material is thoroghly mixed before applying
3. Waterproof slurry is applied in two layers. The second layer is applied 20 minutes after application of the first layer in the opposite direction(for example, the second layer should be applied in horizontal direction if the first layer is applied in vertical
Direction) while the first is still green. In no instance should the total thickness exceed 5mm.
4. It should be applied with using a brush, broom or spray machine. Ensure the material is thoroughly mixed before applying.
5. Before applying further coatings, e. G. Renders, tile adhesive ect on waterproof slurry, allow it to fully cure and the ceramic tiling application may start min. 24 hours after application of it.
Precautions
1. K01 Flex polymer waterproof glue should not be directly exposed to water or sunlight for 24 hours.
2. Do not add water, just add cement when mixing.
3. The application cannot be conducted below 5 degree
5; Do not apply it in the extremely wet and bad-ventilated surroundings so as to affect the formation of the waterproof film.
4. A net should be used to prevent K01 from getting damaged at corner points during water tank, swimming pool, terrace and balcony applications.
