Gf Series Cross Flow Type Low-Nosie Transformer Cooling Fan
1. Application and Features
GF series cross flow type cooling fan is mainly used for cooling of dry type transformer, electronic equipments, high-low voltage switchgear. The output power of dry type transformer can be enhanced by 40% to 50% by using this series TCF, so that the capacity of dry type transformer is improved greatly while the working life is also prolonged. The GF series TCF is the most effective and economical product adopted by the domestic and abroad transformer manufacturer.
2. Operation Principle
When used for the dry type transformer, the GF series transformer cooling fans are put in the lower parts of both sides of transformer coil, then cold air are blown directly into the high-low cooling duct of transformer coil. The cooling effect is apparent, which can guarantee the normal operation and prolong its using life. (The functions of over temperature alarming and over temperature tripping are provided by the temperature controlling device).
3. Working Conditions
3.1 The ambient temperature is between -40ºC and 75ºC.
3.2 The industrial gases like strong acid, strong alkalis and kinds of corrosive solution are prohibited to pass through the cooling fan.
3.3 Debris like sand are not allowed to fall inside the fan, in order to avoid burning of fan and fracture of impellers.
4. Installation and Maintenance
4.1 Firstly, check whether the fans are damaged or deformed during the packing and transportation process before installation. Repairing work is needed if the fans do get damaged or deformed.
4.2 Then check whether there is looseness of the parts and screws, or the displacement between blades and windsocks. Adjustment is needed before installation if displacement happened.
4.3 Only the commissioning test should be carried on after installation of cooling fan, then the fan can be put into use with transformer together after normal operation.
4.4 When reusing the fan after laying aside for a long period, only there is no abnormal phenomenon during commissioning test, then the fan can be put into use with transformer together.
4.5 The junction box should be sealed after installation, in order to avoid the leakage of junction box which may cause the burning of motor due to short circuit.
5. Handling and Storage
5.1 Handling with care during portage process as per the marking and requirements of package, don't keep it upright or turn it over.
5.2 Strong impact and strenuous vibration should be avoided during the handling process, in case that the packing case and product would break.
5.3 The fans should be stored in the ventilating and dry place without corrosive gas, while being avoided moistening by rain and overexposure to the sun.
