The volume density and bulk density of HQ structured packings is 2.3-2.6g/cm3 and 0.32-0.48g/cm3. Furthermore the void volume is 72%-80%. So it has the advantages of packing tower, which is light, small load, low resistance and pressure drop.
By the testing of Tianjing University on the multi-pore packing performance, it show that the mass-transfer coeffient is 2.2 times higher than whole ceramic packing. After packed, multi-pore packing overlap with nearby packing, and there are only six supporting legs as the noneffective area. Moreover, the form of gas and liquid transfer is contact. With the tiny pore of honeycomb shape, and microscopic pores along with space liquid drop area, the effective area is more than 98.5%, resulting in a better separating and purifying effect.

The new developing products HQ-HK slotted & perforated ceramic balls, high efficiency HQ-HK slotted & perforated supporting agent and high efficiency HQ-HK slotted & perforated protecting agent have the national patent, the number is ZL2005 3 0048184.0. Besides these ones, we have other patent products, that is HQR ring (ZL 2005 3 0048180.2) and HQ eight columns arcs link (ZL2006 3 0147956.0).
