FC stands for Fixed Connection, we supply fiber optic FC connector kit, include single mode FC connector kit, multi mode FC connector kit with 0.9mm, 2.0mm and 3.0mm boot in different colors. Optic FC connector kit available in SM UPC, APC and MM UPC.
FC connector kit descriptions:
The FC connector is fiber connector with a threaded body, which was designed for use in high-vibration environments. FC fiber optic connectors are widely used on the equipment and cable assemblies, especially on the test equipment interface. FC is the most widely used connector in today's applications. FC is designed with cylindrical metal coupling nut with keyed sleeves, it is used in long haul and local network connections. FC fiber optic connector use 2.5mm ceramic ferrule or stainless steel metal ferrule and the FC ferrule are with pull-proof mechanism for durability.
There are three types FC fiber connectors: Single mode FC UPC FC fiber connector, single mode FC APC fiber connector and multimode FC UPC fiber connectors. UPC type connector boot usually is black color, APC boot is green color.
The FC connector has been standardized in a FOCIS 4 (Fiber Optic Connector Intermateability Standards) in EIA/TIA-604-04, FC connectors have good compatibility to use in telecommunications, CATV, LAN, WAN, medical, test and measurement of fiber optic devices.
