Product Description
Brakes of DCQP series are mechanical and electrical products made according to the principle of electromagnetic, transforming electrical energy into mechanical energy.
Application: They are widely used in the geared or gearless traction machine with disc shaft brake braking device together composing braking mechanism with traction machine.
Operation principle: When current is sent through magnetic coil (direct current), a magnetic field is produced in and around the coil. Due to the armature core and magnetic chuck are made of high purity of soft magnetic materials with small magnetic resistance, the magnetic coil can produce high magnetic induction intensity. According to the electromagnet principle, a strong mutual attraction force would be produced between the core and chuck. Because the armature core is relatively fixed, and the rotor friction disc connected to the rotor spindle by spline sleeves is also relatively fixed, the magnetic chuck is attracted to the side of armature core as voltage is sent, and the rotor friction is released. On the contrary, when the magnetic coil is powered off, the magnetic chuck presses tightly under the impact of attached spring so as to realize the release and brake to the traction shaft.
