The PRC1060 Squad Radio offers handheld tactical communication capability in the 30 - 88MHz band in 25KHz steps. The radio has 2,320 availalbe channels and can have up to nine fixed-frequency memory channels.
Users of the radio can set the output power through the front panel. The easy to use menu functions let the user define the radios high and low power settings.
An internal Built-In-Test (BITE) function makes it quick and easy to identify a defective board. All of the boards use the latest in surface mount technology that not only reduces space requirements but also ensures high reliabilty.
