In addition to their reliability in demanding manpack applications, Datron's PRC2100V and PRC2150 Spectre radios are equally capable in vehicular or fixed-station configurations. All Spectre V mobile systems feature flexible "jerk and run" operation and are designed for maximum utilization of space. The radio has an "enhanced" mode featuring high-receiver dynamic range. This allows multiple-unit installation on a single vehicle and provides operation with minimal antenna spacing without diminished performance.
Major components of the mobile system include the MT2100MM shock mount, MT2100 power conditioning/routing box, and AM2100 75W RF booster amplifier.
