Datron's PRC2100V provides secure voice and data communications in single-channel or frequency-hopping modes. It is available in either a 10W manpack or 75W vehicular system. High-performance features include both 25 kHz and 12.5 kHz spacing, channel scanning, and simplex or semi-duplex operation. Full-band frequency-hopping offers a high level of ECCM resistance. An internal COMSEC feature allows for secure voice and data transmission. A self-calibrating BITE function allows automatic circuit- alignment and fault notification to the user through the front panel display. The PRC2100V's large graphic display is easily readable in direct sunlight in addition to being scratch and impact resistant. The radio's "language independent" design allows menus to be programmed in the user's native language. A five-language package is standard with the radio, and other languages are available as options. The PRC2100V is fully compatible with Datron's PRC1080 and PRC1088 radios in ECCM mode, and DWC's PRC1060 and PRC1077 in fixed-frequency mode.
