Application:
1. Pesticides stipulated and permitted by EU to use in production of organic food are pyrethrum and azadirachtin indica;
2. Among the 12 biopesticides recommended to the whole globe by UN Food and Agricultural Organization, a few are pyrethrins or pyrethroid compound.
3. Among the pesticides permitted to use in class A and class AA green food in Green Food--Pesticide Application Guideline issued by Chinese Ministry of Agriculture in Mar. 2000, pyrethrins ranks first.
As the most ideal pesticide acknowledged universally at home, natural pyrethrins has a broad use in people's production and life:
(1) Production of farming, forest, and husbandry: Used to make microcapsules or pesticides of other forms to kill pests: Aphid, plant hopper, stem borer, caterpillar, cabbage caterpillar, spider mite, scale insects, bollworm, nephotettix cincticeps, etc.
(2) Storage of grain: Used to make powder or fumigant to prevent and treat worms including rhyzopertha dominica, tribolium castanenum and sitophilus zeamais.
(3) Daily life: Used to make aerosol or mosquito-repellent to kill mosquito, fly, termite, cockroach, stinkbug, spider, etc; Used to make detergent to kill parasites including louse, flea, and mite on animals. Pyrethrum flower residues can be used to make incense coil to repel and kill health pests like mosquito, fly, etc.
