RISUN 30000D
Chemical Composition, Low Monol silyl terminated Polyether with trifunctional methoxy groups.

This is a low monol STPP hybrid polymer based on polyether of approx 24000 MW. The shore A hardness of the resin cured with DBTDL is approx 20.
The resin is designed to be used with DIDP plasticizer and precipitated calcium carbonate to formulate construction and other joint sealants with shore A hardness in the range of 15 to 25.
The trifunctional methoxy groups can be catalyzed to cross link with various chemicals that are well known, however extra vinyl silane needs to be added in compounding, and the use on methanol can further retard the cross linking reaction when used in thick walled HDPE cartridges.
The advantage of the STPP resin with very low monol polyether is that a high level of DBTDL plasticizer can be added, and the sealant cures with no residual surface tack.
Use epoxy silanes and secondary amino silanes for superior adhesion as construction sealants.
Application:

RISUN 30000D POLYMER ADVANTAGES:
Softest long chain polyether for lower shore A sealants with high movement capacity to 20% ASTM standards.
Enables bubble free curing at normal temperature & humidity levels.

Sealant formulations can use the cheaper PPC fillers now available to make thick sealant.
Sealants are solvent and isocyanate free and safer for tradesman and DIY consumers.
Sealants can be made in the factory with maximum mixer temperatures of 60 degree C and low energy use.
The trifunctional polymer is catalysed with low levels of tin containing chemical like DOTL or DBTDL.
No hazard warning labels on the sealant product when displayed in retail stores.

For example slump resistant low modulus PU Construction sealant with good adhesion is difficult to manufacture. The use of STPP or Hybrid silane crosslinked resin allows the use of precipitated calcium carbonates for good rheology and the ability to use secondary amino silanes as adhesion promoters makes the formulation of these new hybrid sealants much easier.
We have the ability to source Polyether polyols from the well known major manufacturers using the DMC catalyst process, and there are now several manufacturers in China. There are also now in China several reputable manufacturers of the special silanes, and we have used them for several years now.
