Specification of Fused Flux :
LH HG250G is a kind of basic agglomerated flux that has been produced according to requirement of hard-facing.It appearance is spherical with dark and grey, grain size of 10~60mesh,It can be used combining welding wire or flux cored wire, overlay cladding on the base metal contains high carbon and high chromium. The layer of surfacing is high hardness and wear-resistant, the appearance is sooth and easy slag removal.
Application of flux:
This flux is designed for overlay cladding and repairing the surfacing with corrosion-resistant and high wear-resistant under the high temperature condition.
Flux of chemical composition(%):
SiO2+TiO2: 20; CaO +MgO+Al2O3+MnO: ≥20 ; CaF2+FeO: ≥10; Others: ~ 55;
Mechanical properties of deposited metal:
C: 2.50 ~ 3.50; Mo : ≤2.0; Cr : 25 ~ 30 ; others: 10 ~ 15;
Overlay Cladding hardness( Rt cool ): HRC 55 ~ 58.
The instruction of usage:
Redried the flux at 450ºCfor 2 hours before use.
Remove the rust,oil and dirt from the surface of welding groove;
If work-piece carbon equivalent is high,
the work-piece should heat up to 300ºC ~400ºC before welding.
