The PRC1077 Tactical VHF Manpack radio has earned the reputation of being the radio of choice for defense organizations around the world when replacing and upgrading their existing tactical VHF networks. It is a modern manpack radio with advanced features that retains the same form, fit, and function of older manpacks still in operation.
The PRC1077 incorporates all the features required in a tactical manpack. It is reliable, easy to program and use, provides exceptionally long mission life due to its low current drain, and has impressive performance characteristics. It also has provision for an internal voice privacy module to allow secure communications when required. It offers 10 preset memory channels, and a broadband transmitter with three unique power levels which are operator-selectable. The entire radio is packaged in seven, easily removable modules making field maintenance quick and easy.
