Product Description
WPS Waterproofing Material is osmotic cementitious mortar suitable for contact with drinking water, for waterproofing underground masonry and concrete structures.
TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTIC
WPS Waterproofing Material is a pre-blended powder, composed of a cement-based compound, selected graded aggregates, and special synthetic resins. When mixed with water, WPS Waterproofing Material becomes a fluid mortar that can be applied by trowel, brush or by spray with excellent adhesion to the substrate for complete waterproofing, even in the presence of slight negative pressure.
USES
1. Repairing underground masonries subject to water and moisture seepage in situations with negative pressure up to 1 atmosphere.
2. Waterproofing basins, reservoirs, concrete or masonry tanks containing drinking water.
3. Waterproofing concrete or masonry tanks containing sewage water.
4. As further smoothing and waterproofing compound of underground walls before laying the bituminous membrane.
5. Interior and exterior cellar walls;
6. Damp areas;
7. Swimming pools;
8. Lift-rooms;
9. Underground passages;
10. Foundation walls;
11. Irrigation canals.
MIXING
Add 25kg of WPS Waterproofing Material with 8lt of clean water into a container mixing constantly by a low speed mixer until a thick creamy consistency is achieved.
Allow the mixture to stand for stand for approximately 10 minutes, remix and apply.
PACKAGING: 25 kg/bags.
STORAGE
WPS Waterproofing Material may be stored for up to 12 months in its original packaging in a dry place.
CONSUMPTION
1.5 kg/m2 per mm of thickness.
It is advised:
For slight moisture penetration: 2-3 kg/m2;
For reservoirs or structures where stagnant water is present: 4-4.5 kg/m2;
For water with a pressure of up to 1 atmosphere: 6-7 kg/m2.
