The LTW is a load cell system, this system weigh axle by axle so that there is no restriction for the wagon type. The LTW is an excellent weighing system that offers one of the world's most convenient, safe and accurate solutions in train weighing.
Working Principle:
When the measured wheels pass the weighing area of the load cell, the measured wheels raise the load cell, derail, weighing signals are collected. When the wheels pass over the area and return rail, the collection for the weighing signal stop. Then we can get the wheel weight and axle weight through the digital processing for the weighing signals by the system.
