Magnesia brick
Characters of Magnesia brick:
Magnesia brick is a kind of alkalescency refractory brick that made from the sintered magnesium with its content more than 90% and that are combined with silicate. Generally can be divided into sintered magnesia brick (also called burning magnesia brick) and chemical combined magnesia brick (also called don't burned magnesia brick). Magnesia brick has advantages like strong alkali erosion resistance, anti-scouring capability, good thermal stability, high compressive strength, high refractoriness under load.
Applications of magnesia brick:
Magnesia brick is widely applied in the furnaces and kilns that have alkaline atmosphere. Such as steel basic open hearth, electric furnace bottom and furnace wall, the permanent lining of oxygen converter, non-ferrous metal smelting furnace, high temperature tunnel kiln, calcined magnesia brick and cement rotary kiln lining, furnace bottom and furnace wall, glass kiln regenerator checker brick, etc.
