Tianjin No.1 Machine Tool Works (TMTW) was set up in 1951. The machines produced in TMTW have been sold to 30 provinces, cities, autonomous regions and municipalities and they have been exported to more than 20 countries and regions in the world, such as U.S.A., Japan, Sweden, Russia, South Korea, Iran, Burma, Romania, Taiwan, Hong kong, etc.

TMTW is located in the center of Bohai economic area and its environment is beautiful. The occupied area is about 290, 000 square meters, 178, 000 of which for buildings. There is an air-conditioned workshop and a special site of 19, 000 square meters for assembling and testing. More than 900 excellent machine equipment and precision instruments work well for production and inspection.
